Web Weaving was founded in 1996 by Chad Denby, a Charlottesville, Virginia native who had more than 15 years of computer programming experience when he created the company. As the internet grew from its infancy, he noticed that the newly emerging website development industry was becoming confusing and overly complicated. This was the inspiration that led him to create a company that dedicates the time and attention necessary to consider the myriad available options in order to make the best decisions. Through the years, this has proven to be a very successful approach for the hundreds of clients we have had the pleasure of serving.
Chad's adaptability and willingness to listen allow clients to stay in touch with current and ground-breaking trends in a way that is easy to understand and that helps them to make the best choices individually. He currently serves as the lead website developer on most projects as well as the lead researcher of emerging website technologies.
Cat Denby, company partner, dedicates her creativity, artistic skills, programming and writing talents to enhance the services offered by Web Weaving. She enjoys integrating thoughtful artistic design with cutting-edge programming ideas to create websites that stand out in an Internet full of uninspired sites. A passion for art and an interest in the puzzle of web programming give her a unique perspective, allowing Web Weaving to produce sites that are visually stunning and technologically user-friendly. Her writing experience completes a comprehensive set of skills useful in website development.
As head of the art department, Cat takes pride in developing visual elements that leave a lasting impression. Her website designs are focused on creating a unified company presence that works with any existing or developing marketing materials to pull together an effective, attractive, and recognizable marketing campaign that reflects your company's personality.
Cat also creates custom art in pencil, chalk and other media when she isn't working on websites. You can see more of her art on Art by Cat and on Facebook. She takes a special interest in portraits of animals and people, photo recreations, and western scenes. Her website offers original and custom art, prints of original drawings and greeting cards.
